Default Gaffrig Muffler Actuators

Looking for help on Gaffrig muffler actuators on '99 Fountain. Air pump good, seems like actuator cylinders are leaking. Are these repairable, parts available and any pointers on making the job easier? Thanks

check the lines for leaks first, they do tend to leak when they get old.the culinders do leak with age, when they go bad, just replace it,then you are good to go for app 5 years

I just rebuilt mine. Unscrewed the ends and put new O-rings in. Also took the solenoid apart and put some grease on shutoff surface. I'll get some O-ring #'s and some pics up.

Every Spring I have to snug up where the air lines connect on mine.

Thanks for the responses guys. Part numbers and pics would be great. Sure beats replacing when you are dealing with 6 actuators.

Do they close at all?????
Mine will close and then open back up within 10 seconds every Spring. All I do is give the compression nut where the hose connects to the actuator an 1/8-1/4 of a turn and they are good to go.
Eventually, I will probably have to replace the compression rings.

Last year they closed and than bleed open as you described. This year nothing. The pump and lines seem to be fine.

This is one of my spare broken cylinders. It use to be the silver plated. Universal O-ring kit.
