Default Shurhold 3100

Has anyone bought/used the Shurhold 3100 polisher ? I'd like to hear how well it worked...how powerful it was....easy of use...and is it superior to a typical 10" orbital buffer ? Worth the money ? Thanks.

Guess I'm just afraid of buffing my boat with a big polisher. I'm told it takes alot of practice and special technique ? I was wondering how close the Shurhold came to a pro job...or if it was REALLY superior to a standard 10". Thanks.

I'd go ahead and go with rotary. Read my 'How I use Leverage' thread. I've posted up detailed instuctions on buffing.

I bought a flex and could not be happier. Not that I enjoy using it but it is a true dual action polisher and does it in half the time than my Makita.

Damn, the Flex is double the price of the Shurhold, is worth double the price, and $300.00 is a decent amount of change compared to a $30 harbor freight.
