Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. Just bought a 1990 powerquest 290 enticer, did notice that the exhaust is not as loud as the baja i once owned, found out from the dealer that it actually has mufflers on the tips!! I need some more rumble out of it. Can any one suggest some other tips? It does have corsa exhaust installed. Why can't i just cut out the baffles, has anyone done this upgrade?? any suggestions would be greatly appriciated! Robert

have 4 tips I just took out of my Powerquest,they are 1 season old and made by Corsa with no mufflers in them,

why did you take them out? Hows the outside look? i was looking for the longer slash cut ones but all of them are alot of $$$. May be interested! let me know more please. thankyou

Took them off because I boat at a small body of water and alot of people are complaining because too much boat noise.

I know what your saying about the longer tip but on a 290 you wont see them because the swim plattform covers them.

Is the outside in good shape, not scratched or anything? How long is the tip that comes out of the boat?
