Default Good News Iwsf Is Gone !

International Water Safety Foundation is out of business and is in receivership.I guess their luck in avoiding US law finally ran out.I hope that nobody here has any "insurance" with them as you have no coverage and really didn't have much when they were operating.

Surprised they lasted that long. Unlicensed companies trading paper usually get caught by the state regulators. But some of us were on the ball some time ago

Default Iwsf

There is enough blame concerning IWSF.I saw many boat insurance buyers not caring about what company wrote the policy as long as it was the lowest price.I saw many banks accepting their binders without any knowledge of the company, and I saw many boat dealers in spite of my warnings didn't care about anything as long as they got a binder to complete the sale.Their demise is like getting rid of A kidney stone !

Absolutely Sy. On every board I've seen, a large number of people judge their insurance by how little they paid I always start to wonder about even known companies, when they suddenly appear on everyone's "cheap" list. I have wondered about a certain aggressive company that begins with a big p.
