This is the second race in a row that the Qatar 95 ran to the inside of the course at the start. I watched it all unfold through my lens. The Marine Search and Rescue for which was the boat I was on, the Captain began to panic as they saw the boats heading straight for us. He hits the throttles to try to move further inside to escape but I told him to shut it down. These guys saw us and they committed to their line according to the condition they saw. Now you jump out in front of their line and you are sure to get hit. Fortunately he pulled the throttles back as we saw 95 drop it's nose and make a correction turning to starboard. In the one pic, you can see our prop wash and 95 passing it .... :string
