Looks like FPC did a great job of filling up my fallback plan - Sheraton Suites.

Anyone else have suggestions for something reasonable this late in the game? Just two so that kinda rules out condos/houses.

The places at the North end of the island and by the airport are always cheaper, but it is a cab ride to Duval. I think Days inn, Holiday inn etc.

Every hotel will have last minute cancellations. Just show up and you WILL find one. We did the same thing last year. LOL

Hilton Garden is on the north side but there is a trolly/jitney that runs all around downtown every 15 minutes. Nice place too.

Fairfield Marriott Suites

We will be canceling a two bedroom condo on the S end of Duval as a friend cannot make the trip.. It's reserved Wed thru Monday..

The Best Western is the place to stay on the North side of the Island. Plenty of parking for trucks and possibly trailers. A great Tiki Bar with an awesome happy hour. The beach is right across the street and there is always some tail sunbathing by the pool/tiki bar. Ten dollar cab ride to Duval and Five Dollars to the restaurants and TT bar on Roosevelt.

El patio, but its alittle shady, not the cleanest, but only like $80per night. Right by the Casa Marina Resort.
