How would i go about converting a dual engine hull to a single engine when the stringer is going right up the middle?? do i cut the stringer and box it out. any body done it and have pics

I would cut it out just enough to get the engine in to keep much strenght as possible and then make the two low ones (under the engines ) as high that you can mount your single engine and give the transom more strenght .
would be quite a big job .

Before you start cutting, check w/ LittleDCSrodshop over in the Saber Forum. He just did this to a 28.
Why would you want to do this though, and to what boat?
And post a pic of your sig27.
