After 10 solid years from my 454 mag MPI, the time for an upgrade is now! HTG has just finished putting in a carbed 583, sounds like a beast! Just waiting on the drive to be put back together so we can test it!!

sounds great just don't punch it getting on plain:eek I use to wait till I was on plan doing 3500 or so then hit it sometimes hard but I never had more than 670hp in it. 800 hp is perfect for a konrad ace drive. good luck

Tested for 20 mins on niagara river with Rob from HTG... 81 mph GPS with a 26 4 blade on it... still being kind to it, as the motor needs to be broken in... Has crazy mid-range punch... Started to chine walk at 80 though... Putting her in Balsam lake to test within the hour

Yes hydraulic steering was part of the upgrade! Had alot of fun on Saturday, messed around with the tabs and got rid of the chine! Hopefully test some props this week before my lake freezes!
