Default Do Merc props fit outboards? Need prop help.

I have 2000 Evinrude 225 2 stokes that have Viper 3 blade SS prop that are 14.75 x 21p.

I am off the tach over 6k, so i don't know the true rpm's. I need more pitch or blades. I am thinking a 4 blade would get more speed, and bring RPM's down to 5900 or 6000 range.

Seems like every outboard I see has 3 blades. I wonder if they can't spin a 4 blade?
I don't know anything about Evinrude props, but I do know Merc props. Thus, I would like some bravo 21p 4 blades.

Will they work on Evinrude? Am I thinking a 4 blade would be better?

You can get a flo torque hub for any merc prop that takes one, and fit it to an evinrude.

4 Blades are pretty common on bigger outboard powered boats.

Yes we can put Merc props on BRP OB's
We have the right adaptor kits.
There are no 21 B1's specific but we can help there too.

Call if you have any other questions.

I have the same boat with more power and run 21 Mirage plus at about 6200-6300 RPM which is right where I want to be for my motors, they would probably be the perfect prop for you, you would run high 5000 RPM range with 225s

and I have run 4 blades (Mach Sterndrivers) with no problem at all, just never had access to a Bravo 1 22s which I would love to try, just found a local guy that has a set for me to try in the spring,

Don't know if yor V6s will handle the extra blade area as well but that is why they have the PVS system

I have a RH 21p M+ forsale.. just want to dump!
$200 + ride! I actually was running a 23p M+ and just recently got a 23p B1 w/cup (22pb1 formerly).

Was ready to ship BBlades my M+ but, I didn't know if I could get what I wanted (cruise perf and higher rpms) and never received a email reply :-( even had page printed, filled out and prop boxed!
