Default boat painting
If you are doing a all over on a small 18 drag boat,could I do graphics in lacquer paint then clear coat it all with a acrylic enamel two part. John Sr

not really, I mean I suppose you could but those are very outdated materials. Have you considered a basecoat clearcoat system?

base coat clear coat for sure, what do they paint the outer limits with?? the ones with all the graphics.

No adhesion, cant clear over lacquer with anything but lacquer, stick with basecoat clearcoat.

they all use BCCC, with a polyester base and a urethane clear.

Look into PPG's DBC system with DCU 2021 clear
