Default Thanksgiving in Miami

Going down to Hollywood Beach, Miami, Lauderdale for Thanksgiving week and the weekend after. Where is a great place to watch Offshore boats enter/leave. Montys is a great place, but mostly fishing charters and sport fishers. Anything going on that week? How about Ft Lauderdale?

If you want to get on the water and check out some nice houses do the Jungle Queen sightseeing cruise in Lauderdale.

Thanks, this will be a pretty family oriented trip. Not a huge party or "do my own thing" type weekend. Lots of family time with people from all over the country. I do appreciate the offer, would love to check out the Pantera.

Definitely there, as well as actually being ON South Beach itself.

Smith & Wollensky is a nice steak house, that has a great patio right on the water, where you can see boats coming & going pretty well.

I'd probably have to say Miami Beach Marina/Monty's would be the best "public" place overall, to be able to casually sit & watch boats in that area.

I'll post up if we are going out, and you are welcome to go for a ride with us.

Lauderdale, may not be many fasboats though, as it is far from any inlets, and the ICW is no wake this time of year.
