First let me say thank-you...although I have never posted, we were looking to buy a powerboat with a limited budget, and searching these forums helped us greatly. We have a 18 foot checkmate, but wanted something bigger to go on larger lakes, inland like Castle rock, and Pettenell here in Wisconsin. We will keep the Checkmate, but are now the parents of a 88 201 Liberator. She was the cleanest of all the boats we looked at, and will provide the comfort of a larger boat.
Here is my first post and question...
The Seats are too high for my wifes liking. Tried to lower them using the mechanisim, but still too high. She can not touch the floor. Can I have the post cut 6 inches to lower them? Is there a better soulution? Anyone else done this?
Thanks again....
