Default Wanted: 33-38

I comb the internet all the time for my next toy. My Velocity while fast and fun lacks a cost effective drive solution for its age. I have a set of terrific motors I'd like to put into another hot rod type boat a little more modern. boats I like or have seen that suit me: 33 powerplay, 34 sutphen, 34 phantom or pantera, emty cabins ok. I'd rather be a touch slower and know I'm not leaving a chunk of gear and casing in Davy Jones locker. Or smokin a set of cone cluthes or whatever in some wimpy bravo's. Old school ssm's arel idea and tough as nails. Where do the raceboats go to if there not broke in half? I saw a 35-38? pantera(black) at Barrett Jackson 2 yrs ago that would suit perfect, that type anyway. I don.t poker run very often, just like to take the guys for a rip or grab a few couples to go for dinner up the coast(quickly). Long story, not so short, anynone got advice, contacts, whoever and whatever. Links, sites or heard tell. Though I would go to a 38 it would have to be the right boat. I'd like to stay hot roddish and not into the 10'000 lb range.

Default Lavey 32

Lavey has a 32 in their showroom (32' 6") twin step bottom. It currently has no motors or drives but everything else, It was rigged with Teague 800s and XR's and ran 112 or so. Powerboat tested it and the acceleration was the quickest of all the rest.

It is in the OSO classifieds offered with new 525's at $155,000. Call Jeff at Lavey. He will make you a smokin' deal on on of the finest hot rods you will find.
