Many thanks to "Bob the Builder" Barnhardt for the kind invitation to his fantastic Thanksgiving Fun Run boat ride to Tarpon Point Resort. Bob and his Ft. Myers Offshore group have created a wonderful power boating community on the Gulf Coast. For a nominal membership fee and contribution to well-organized runs, power boaters can enjoy the benefits of group excursions
to top-notch locations, including lunch, card games with cash prizes and great camaraderie--and all to benefit hard-working students with their own scholarship fund. Thank you, Marilyn. It was a pleasure to have you along Saturday and I'm glad you enjoyed the day. I'm blushing tho. A great deal of credit goes to my fellow FMO board members, Dan Davies, Hans Haedelt, John Wilkinson, Tom Cullen, Jay Forbes and Joe Rutter who are all dedicated to our cause. Also Jay Nichols who so magnificently captures all the fun and dedicates so many hours to his pictures which we all enjoy. It's great to have fun and help some young people while doing so.
