I know times are tough, but is anyone building a new Racer or thinking about it??

The Smith brothers just announced they are having a 26 Joker built for OPA class 6. Can't wait to see it!

Cool! Whats the difference between class 5 and 6? Gino runs Ilmor in 5.

class 6 is supposed to be limited to 500hp but i think the smith brothers are the only ones following that rule

OL has a race boat in production and some talk about more

hopefully its an SVL and more than just one is being built for that class. That could be awesome one day.......

Heater, I disagree with your assumption that everyone is running over 500 horsepower. When I raced in 2009, (I sat out 2010) I had a stroked BBC, Gen 4, 496 CID with peanut port cast heads. I don't know what the horsepower was?? Most guessed 450. Any guess's?? I was somewhat competative-with a couple of 3rd place finishes, and 1 break-out for the year. I'll be back in 2011 in the lil yellow Sunsation, 606 Lock'd Up
