Like it or not boys and girls, Bill's # is not too far off.

He's not getting emotionally attached to these things,
he's just trying to peddle them....he's simply looking to make a profit.

In this market, who knows how long you may have
to sit on something and have your $$$ tied up because
it doesnt sell.

And, these arent cars, you're not going to make
these kind of deals ( where you hit a home run $$)
every day.

With that being said, look how much interest popped
up on buying that boat at that price?......at that #
he knows he can dump it and get out of it if he needs to.

This isnt just a Baja thing.....for the most part, it's
anything that floats

I don't think anyone is questioning what a boat will get on trade to a dealer for another boat. That number is low. But trying to say that is what the boat will bring on the used retail or wholesale market is not it. I would love to sell my boat, 2004 25 Outlaw, for $39,900 and take a 2002 33 Outlaw in on trade for $22,000. But it just isn't going to happen.

I dont think he's trying to indicate the price it will bring
in the used boat market .

He's throwing a # out there that he knows that he can
recover his $$$ if for some reason he has to dump it quickly.

Basically, quickly turning the boat into cash.

I think anything and everything would sell if you drop your drawers and take it hard, but not everyone is willing to do that. My .02

True, but even you know $10k on a 2002 25 Outlaw isnt very realistic. I could make several different phone calls and turn it that day for $16k or better.
