Hey all - Da new guy here.
Its been a long time on the shore and I am about ready to hit the waters again. Curious to get some input from other people who may have more time behind the throttles than I.
I have a chance to pick up a late 89 Baja Force 320, 89 Donzi Z33, 84 Scarab 34', Christ Craft 312 Stinger or an IMP X 310 - all are the same price lets say. Is there any one that stands out as a hell no! or other issues - fiberglass fuel tanks, hull issues or other bad ju ju?
Anyones input is greatly appreciated. Not looking for the fastest boat but one that I wouldn't have to be worried about any BIG
issues.

I've never liked IMPs. Late 80's Bajas are allegedly worse for rot than mid-80's Bajas. I'm not a fan of the Chris Craft Stinger, but some on here will disagree. If the 34' Scarab is a Scarab III, it's more of a cruiser than a go-fast. It might be the right option for you, just depends what you want it for.
Personally I like the Donzi the best out of that bunch, and I own a '85 320 Force Baja...

the boat will be more of an intercoastal runner for the wife and I with perhaps a run to the Bahamas (in a group) or a run from Palm beach to the Keys - is I feel brave enough. So it is more for pleasure with no racing in mind - not to say I would try it with someone for fun.
I have heard about the rot which is a concern of mine also and I agree the would be a survey done for my own protection.
Does anyone know if the Donzi had fiberglass tanks back then? I googled the heck out of it last night but couldn't find that answer.
