i am interested in the 220 but dealing with the cubanos in miami makes me a little nervous, how can one make sure he does not get taken and be sure he is not buying a hot boat some julio stole and put up on craigslist, even if he had the title, seems sketchy

I wouldnt be too worried about dealing with the "cubanos". I bought my Pantera, several outboards, and when I was redoing the boat bought the bracket all Hialeah also, just make sure the paperwork is all in order. Put this over on screamandfly.com, the outboard forum, several members from Miami, they may even know the boat.
