Default Old School Rides...but not THAT Old School

Just curious.....does anyone miss the old school look of the old "resin buckets" from the day??..my ride is an older...pre-step hull....and I love the lines....but I mean the truly old school lines. Just sitting here after a few cocktails and decided that one of the hottest sleds ever done IMHO was the 39 Stinger....yeah...I was watching an old Vice episode...but so what?? Still a sled I'd trade my a$$ for in a hot minute!

I started boating in the late 70s so to me real old school ends in the mid to late 80s at the latest....
I laugh inwardly when I see the young'uns call mid to late 90s boats old school,LOL..

Mine is 88 and I hesitate to call it real old school..

I don't think there are much nicer lines Than a long pointy deep V....

There are much faster lines but that's another story!

The lines of the newer cigarettes aren't much different than the old cigarettes and apache's.

I've always thought you could pretty much take the overall design of the 41 Apache, incorporate the most modern, efficient hull design to it, & have the perfect offshore Vee bottom. It's by far my personal favorite as far as what a real offshore vee bottom should look like:

That may just be the statement of the year. New Hull same look. It would sell a ton of them I bet. I love the old school Apache look.

So what does the waiting list looks like on the Pantera 41?

I too like the lines of the so-called old school boats. Being in my mid-50's, my first glimpse of an off-shore boat was when I was 12 or so and I was HOOKED! I think that's why I gravitate to such boats as Velocity or the old Scarabs or Cig's.
