does anyone know the process of paying sales tax on a documented boat in ohio?

I have had three boats that were and the one I have now is documented. I can also tell you that the state of Ohio is unrelenting when it wants its taxes on those boats.They will come after you in no uncertian terms !!! and make you prove that you paid the taxes.... in black and white.It happened to me twice before.
You will probably get a letter from them ----Real dicks...
In both cases I had purchase agreements from dealers and could prove that I paid the taxes ---- Had to send them a copy.

Definitely don't wait for them to find you. I was warned I would not be happy if I did.
