Default single ram to dual ram steering

I have a single ram hydraulic steering, it is full not add on. Not sure of the brand. What would be involved to convert it to dual ram? would i have to change the helm ( it has 4 hoses on it) or can i just add another cylinder

4 lengths of hose , 12 hose ends, 2 tee's, 10 908 fittings, and some p/s fluid. it will add right on. i would check the c.c's of the helm unit. you can look on the back of it behind your dash. its probably a charltnn. they or that type are most common. you may notice a slight difference in steering feel at idle if the helm is a small c.c unit.

If the number of steering wheel turns lock to lock was say 2 with single ram, it will be 4 with dual ram using the same helm.
