Is 15 hrs enough time to trust my motors. there 525hp 60 over stroked 454s with p&p merlin heads high rises intakes? It was running great. is theird time a charm??? or should i have them pulled and gone through? Keep in mind it did take 3 time to get more than 2 hrs out of it.

ya powersourse told me not to be shell shocked every things ok now. they put 5hrs then i put 5 more on fox lake then i came home and ran it 40 miles about another 5 hours 40 to 70mph strait and it ran good. the port motor was the problem took 3 times to chase the problem starberd motor was fine the first time around. so is 15 hrs on the new motors seem go enough or what? I haven't found a place any were close to me that could help me out. I did talk to Rhynes race engines of gary Indiana they built the engines first and that powersourse is a creditable engine builders and that i should feel confident about how its running not to worry. BUT I AM DONT WANT TO WAIST ANOTHER SUMMER....

Not sure why you are going so far for engine work. I know there are several good builders in the Holland and Grand Rapids area of Michigan.

The day you trust them is the day they will f_ you. Always keep eyes and ears open. No matter how well built they are performance motors and are always on the edge. But lucky enough you have 2 so you in most cases will make it home.

Never trust an engine in a boat 100% . Especially an aftermarket build up. Always look, listen, and worry! Preventive maintenance is the key, watch your gauges ALWAYS...... and never think that NOTHING can go wrong on the water! Good luck.
