Default 575 Intercooler or Power Kit Recommendations?

Long time browser but first time poster here...

I've been searching the forums and looking at options for a while but most of the posts on this topic that I have read were pretty old. I figured I would see if there are any new options or recommendations out there for adding an intercooler or full power kit to a pair of 575s?

Next to power gain, reliability would still be important, but I was also concerned with total height the options available as theres not a terrible lot of space between the deck lids and the air cleaners today.

Anyone have recommendations that provide good power and "reasonable" reliability on that platform?

Thanks!

You could add a Blower Shop chiller and smaller pulley. Or what I would do is swap out for a 8/71 blower, add chiller, new carbs.

Call and talk to Rob at Hot To Go, Grand Island NY. 716-773-6131. htgracing.com

Think they have made up to 850hp with stock blower and throttle bodies using good heads, cam, and a little more compression.

Ron Potter re did my 575's and they are now 700s.
We did some serious internal work being I needed complete rebuilds but I can give you some ideas.
You can swap pulleys and remap the computers to easily make them 625hp.
We did not add inter coolers on mine. What he did do was port and polish the heads for much better flow and we converted the motors to a roller cam set up. Both motors easily dyno'd at 700+

Thanks for all the replies, all great info.

They are EFI's btw... using the MEFI 3 ECM. I should have specified.

Have been browsing a while including a few of the Superchiller and Whipple kits as below:

Debated for quite some time and figured its probably time to start calling around to get the recommendations for next season. I've taken note of the names though and I'll do some calling around to see what the options might be. Thank you for the references.

I highly recommend Ron Potter.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I agree with Tom A. Ron Potter has an excellent reputation. He built all of the Nor-Tech engines for a couple of years they were big power and a lot of them are still being used today.

I also would like to find 2 Whipple intercooler kits for a 575. I know I can order new from Whipple, but maybe a used set running around somewhere
