Question 330 TRS prop?

Wondering what prop anyone else might be using on an old Pantera 24 with almost stock 330 TRS set-up? Any idea what they came out of the factory with?

Probably came with a 21 or 23 solid hub clever, 23 Mirage solid hub would probably work good for everyday use and there are alot of them around cheap.

I've got the cleaver that came with my boat when it had the 330 in it , Don't know what pitch it is , will look for you and you can get a good deal on it if you need it !

I read along time ago that Panteras like Mirage Plus', so I think I'll try a 23, unless someone knows of anything better. Don't cleaver props come on plane harder?

Whatever Mirage, or Mirage plus turns the proper RPM for ya, I have a 21, and 23 mirage(non plus) solid hub that I would let go, my outboard likes the 21 plus, and I have tried a lot of Props.

I didn't even think about a four blade. What brand / model is it? Are you running about 350hp on a TRS?

Mine didnt like a 4 blade, but the outboard is a whole different beast.

When I had my 24 with 454/330 and trs I liked the way it handled with bravo 1 24p
I had a 23 cleaver as well and it would loose traction if I got on it too much when getting on plane.

That's the problem I have with this 25 pitch unbranded 3-blade that's on the boat now. I need to be real ginger with 4 people and a full tank, or it will blow out easily trying to get on plane. I like the lower RPM's with the 25 inch prop though.
I think I'll still look for a used 23 Mirage Plus w/solid hub just for kicks.

Thanks everyone!
