Default Suspect Cigarette Craigslist Ads

I cannot be sure if it is craigslist ad hijacking but it looks like it. I've been following some boats on craigslist to see if price comes down to something more in my price range. I've noticed some new ads of same boat (using the original ad's pics) come up but with higher pricing. All the new ads seem to have the same phone number attached....to me this seems suspect? All suspect ads seem to list out of South Florida area with phone number of 786 286 - 0801.

Here are links to examples of two seperate ads for same boats;

call it, do *67 and block your number, ask to see the boats and see what he says. then say there is another add for the same boat in st pete, where is the boat located?

Default my two cents

it may be totally legit, ive seen many people here in the Nashville TN area trying to sell stuff on craigslist and they list it in different surrounding cities to get more eyes looking at the ad. remember if you list it one city...it doesnt get listed in other surrounding areas.

good luck in your search for a new toy!

yes but all the duplicate adds have the same number, all the original adds have different phone numbers.

ok so that does sound a little suspect...i didnt check the adds that closely i just knew from boat shopping locally that i came across some ads listed in different cities but they all listed the same contact info.

its a shame there are so many shady characters out there scamming anyone they can. line em all up and shoot em!
