Bent Axle Repair?
#1
Redoing my Myco trailer this winter. Complete brake system replasement, wiring, paint etc. I just noticed that one of my new tires is balding quickly. Upon inspection I found that the front axle on the pass side is bent at the end near the spindle mounting to the axle tube. This causing the tire to wear. Can this be heated and straightened or should it be replaced? I'm leaning towards replacement since I am also replacing the leaf springs and backing plates . My problem is time to wait for the new axle and the trailer is apart now in the middle of a friends shop floor. I hate doing things twice. What say you all?

Try Franklin Trailers in Berlin NJ. They stock tons of parts and may have it in stock. You could also go over to Sea Lion in Bellmawr (right up the street from Hargrove's) and see if they will sell you one.
