I am looking at upgrading my drive unit so it will handle my new power; reasonably priced that will be reliable and handle the extra ponies and torque without breaking my wallet.

I have a spare Xr drive is there anything I can do with it?

I'm not an expert, but I do know that 950HP, CHEAP, and RELIABLE don't usually go together.

I am pushing over 1000 hp through an IMCO SCX upper, with an IMCO SC lower. One season on this combo so far with out any problems. I have changed oil several times while doing spacer testing, and other than the normal initial fuzz on the magnets...the thing is running like the energizer bunny.

I would give IMCO a try.
