Default Baja 226 ES

Looking at a 226 ES and need some info. What year(s) was the 226ES produced. Seller claims it is a 1991 but I can only find info for 1990.

What do you think the value of the boat is. Haven't seen it in person yet but from the pics the is extremely clean...still has a lot of shine and can see reflections in the gel. Only thing i could see is the sunpad has a seem that popped. NADA claims low of 9K and average 9500 with Merc 502 which the boat has.

Thanks
Matt

In 91' they started calling them the 240,
( started to count the molded swim platform in overall length)
90's and 91's had the same graphics.

the 226es turned into the 240 sport and was made untill 97. If it where made today it would be a 24 ft boat, but in 89 and 90 they where measured different because of some coast guard deal.

I still have one in the driveway, I sold it to my kids a few years ago. It is a 21 degree hull and they are fast! Ours has a 502 and will break the 70 mark no problem. If it isn't soft it is a great boat.

I had two of them. One 89' Sport 226 with newer graphics, and a 92' Baja 240. They all came from the same set of molds except the 97' had a newer deck with dash changes that I never really liked. I always deleted the stern rails on the ones that I bought. Liked the look w/o them better.
