There isnt any for sale yet. I have driven one and was quite impressed. It obviously didnt have the v8 rumble or even a turbo wistle or lag. It would spin the tires fairley easy. I have not hooked any trailers up to one but judgeing by what products ford has been putting out I'm sure it will be a great package.

Yeh I don't believe their out yet, however they did a test and it beat the Hemi in towing a load up a grade and absolutely destroyed the Chevy 5.3 up the same grade. It has a flat almost diesel like torque band right off idle that carries through the range. Awesome engine.
I'd be more interested in the 5.0 though, that engine is responding to mods and FI incredibly well, gotta have that V8 rumble... but the Ecoboost will be perfect for a ton of people.

It is available and on dealer lots. I was at a dealer on sun and they had a couple, but not the crew cab I need. I've seen the Ford endurance and head to head videos and they are impressive, but I'm sure somewhat biased since Ford made them. Just looking for 1st hand experience.

Just as a side note The ecoboost they are refering to is a 3.5 litre v-6 twin turbo 365hp w/420ft.lbs. of twisty. Cosiderably less than their largest offering! Rich

the ecoboost is a gas diesel. has all the cool features of a diesel but in a gas engine format. i drove one. thought it was neat. cannot say anything about longevity. but, i do go to training on it soon so i will keep everyone posted on what i learn.

from what i understand the truck version is beefed up. but you can find that engine under the hood of a taurus sho starting in 2010. the 3.5 has existed but not this 3.5
