Question Engine mounts???

Hey guys I am looking for a template or even original engine mounts for my 1996 38' Scarab.
The originals were rusted to hell and got thrown away by accident so now I need new ones.
I bought new engines yesterday so I need these mounts soon.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Chuck

Hi Chuck, I bought your old motors and i still have the mounts. They have a little rust but it is nothing that cant be blasted off and re-painted. Let me know if you want them. Your old motors have been in the boat for 2 years and after a rebuild, some bigger cams, and some lightning headers they run great. If it makes you feel any better you did not throw them away you gave them away.

That is a relief! Thanks man! I really thought they got thrown out.
I didn't remember leaving them on the motors. Of course my memory isn't what it used to be!

I would definitely like to get them back. Just let me know what I have to do to get them.
Thanks again bro!

What's up John? Yeah I been out of the scene for a couple years.
I was busy getting married and having a little boy!
So after a huge wedding and a newborn I am finally able to slowly get back into this love/hate relationship with the Scarab.

You still running that Baja around?

Congrats on both. Will be working on kids myself before too long so I've been trying to get all the boating in that I can. Still got the Baja and its still running strong. You going to have yours running by summer? Check out www.bayouboaters.com if you get a chance. Website owned by a friend of mine, all local guys.
