since spring is months away all i do is tinker around in my man cave with my new boat, wife hasen't seen me much lately, i noticed that the up botton on the trim on the throttle is not working, it goes down but not up, i do realize that it will only go up so far and stop but i have nothing when drive is almost the whole way down, the helm trim switch works and also the trim switch on the transom, any ideas? just looking for input before i go tearing anything up

ok, i messing with this and the red is power, blue is down, green is up, am i right? all connections are good and have power from helm switch to throttle switch, have power out of that connection to the throttle switch, is there any way to check the actual throttle switch or take it out of the throttle?

Have someone push the switch up and see if you get power from the green wire. Use a test light or volt meter.
My guess is you you won't have power coming out and the throttle switch is bad based on what you have said about the helm and transom switches working.

If the trailer up switch works, then check the trim position sensor. I had a similar issue with my Formula, would trim down fine, but not up unless I used the trailer switch.
Turns out the sensor thought the drive was all the way up even though it was down so the switch on the throttle wouldn't work. The trailer switch doesn't care about the position sensor so it would still work.
