Default URGENT *** PLEASE HELP REMOVE Arbitrary Speed Limits in New Hampshire

As you may have already been aware, last year the liberal legislature and some special interest groups were able to pass speed limits on Lake Winnipesaukee NH. 45 mph during the day and 30 mph at night. A group of boaters called Safe Boaters of New Hampshire “SBONH” joined together in protest of enacting this law and has been working diligently to have these arbitrary limits removed from the lake. This group has a current bill before the newly elected legislature in NH to remove these limits and institute the US Coast Guard guidelines that all boaters are familiar with.

Please help us remove these arbitrary limits by visiting:
www.sbonh.org to sign our petition.

This is a different petition that what was circulated a year ago so please revisit the site to help our cause.
We only have one month to gain as many signatures as possible and return personal freedom to boaters in New Hampshire. These restrictions must be stopped before they spread to other states and affect ALL boaters!

Default Half Way There!

Thank you to all who supported us. We have won the first half of the battle. Today the NH Senate 13 to 11 in Favor of SB27 as amended.

In an effort to get a bill passed that will work for everyone and withstand the test of time, we worked with legislators on a compromised bill. This leaves the speed limit of 45mph in force but INCREASES it in the largest area known as "the broads" to 55 mph.

While this is not a perfect compromise it is a significant step in the right direction.

We will be soon asking for your assistance on the House side. With your help it is sure to pass and we can finally return some Freedoms and Personal Liberty to NH.

Thanks again for the help and please stay tuned!
