Before paint we wanted to at least mock up the new power and tube headers. With the straight tails we need to cut new holes inside and a bit higher than where they currently are. In doing so, we will need to cut through two "supports" that run vertically on the inside of the transom just outside of the inner transome plate. It is maybe 3/4 wide, comes out an inch or so, and comes up from the bottom of the bulge to the bottom of the "tail". It does not seem to be a problem but wanted to pass it by you.
