Default 311 cabin stringers

Posted this in the Formula section too.
Does anyone have a drawing or diagram of the stringers from the bulkhead under the cabin door forward? Placement and size is kinda what Im looking for. Im trying to figure out if the carpet that runs up from the cabin floor to where the cushion are is glued to the stringer or just a panel. Cause its soft as hell! Ifs it is the stringer how big wide or thick are they?

Unless it has a cabin liner the carpet is usually glued directly to the stringer.

Thats kinda what i was worried about. I have found some pics of an older Formula that was getting new stringers, it wasnt a liner boat but the cabin did have a panel about 2 inches in front of the stringer that was tied in to the cabin floor and the area that makes the seat. This boat had the same stringer design that the 311 does. Just seems like if the stringers were that soft in the cabin I should be seeing stress cracks on the hull under that area,or some shifting or some sign of weakness. The only reason I know that area is soft is I went to change a light bulb in the cabin walk way.

It sounds like it has to be done either way. Get the carpet off and see what you have. Don't be scared. Here is a little motivation from when I started poking around in a 40 Excalibur.
