can anyone help with this vin# C0BAG008M80, it's a 32 or 34 ft Chris Craft and I am trying to figure out the model and other info. Power is twin 454's with Gale Banks turbo kits and the boat originally came from Florida so I'm told any help much appreciated.

Look closer at the HIN #. It should read "CCBAG" not COBAG". The "CC" is, obviously, for Chris Craft. The "B" is for the Bradenton, FL plant.
The HIN number should have 12 characters, but yours only indicates 11, so something is missing. The rest of the number should indicate the model and the sequence number, plus the month and year of construction and model year.
Post a photo of the boat and I could probably help you out a bit more.

that is all of the vin that I could make out, the swim grid is in the way. I think she may be a 1980 Chris Craft Excalibur model, I found one pic on google of the same boat. Maybe tommorrow I'll go snap some pics and post them and a member might recognise her.

CCB is factory code which is Bradenton, FL. AG is model code - AG was used for CC Stinger 312s, I'm not sure if the model code could be used across different models. 008 is # of hull. 80 = year of manufacture. There should be a letter after 80 which designates month of manufacture. Please post pictures of the boat - I'd be very interested in seeing them.

Sure looks like a 1980 Chris Craft Excalibur most probably built at the Bill farmer's Excalibur plant. Chris Craft badging but years before the 312 designation. I don't think that was the original windshield--if my memory serves me correctly they were much lower profile and built from aluminum.
