I am looking for two of the "taller" hi-performance flame arrestors for my 90 powerquest, 454 330hp. I have k&n's and are not marine approved. wanting to go back with the original merc arrestors so i can run my covers. Thanks for any help!!

orignals were "zenith" youll need a bone yard to find them barbron corp. in fairhaven michigan makes a mesh replacement real common in the 80s

I am looking at the serria international brand for hi-performance merc v-8 pn#18-7232 This is the taller one and i think it will work?? I have found it for $85 each.

i looked at that filter on ebay and it isn't the hi performance one. The filter is only 1.5" tall. the hi performance one is over 2" tall. Thanks guys..

I have two stock Flame arresters from Mercruiser 454/420's. $25 each, will sell one if you need just one. If you give me your e-mail, I can e-mail you a picture.
