Default Boat show unveiling: 560 HP Outboard + Intrepid

This just showed up on Intrepid's Facebook page. Does anyone know anything about this company Seven Marine?

"Intrepid could not be more honored than to work with not only a top notched first class operation....but also one of the best groups of people we have ever worked with. We are excited about our future together!.....Go 7 Marine!!!"

Wow, those outboards could be a game changer if they were to work well on performance boats. SBC OB's, now thats what egg-beaters should sound like!

I look forward to reading about these, but I'm sceptical as to how well everything south of the powerhead will hold up.

SS930 has it right !! this could be a real game changer not only for the outboards but maybe some one will come out with that engine (557 H.P. supercharged small block chevy ) tied to some one else's drive unit like Konrad or Ilmor or Volvo and give Merc some kind of a run for their money that does not cost $204,000.00 per engine ........ Hows that for a big crap ball that I just rolled !!!!!! Lets hear it guys -----What do you think ??????It will be interesting to see if anyone figures it out real quick.
