Default Motor oil selection help.

I have twin 496's, low hp (375 each) Can I please get a motor oils recommendation . In my motorcycles and cars I use full synthetic. Might be Harley brand or Amsoil in my triumph. Mobil one in my truck. Should I use the same (one of these) in my Mercuiser? I don't care how much it cost, I want the best quality. Thanks

Run a non synthethic 20w-50, I like Kendall GT1 and the Merc HP filter.
A friend has a 496 Mag boat also one with HO's. No oil burn and psi was good for 40hrs of use.

I run Mobil 1 15w50 in my 496HO's. I've used that oil in merc big blocks since 1996.

AMSOIL Dominator 15w-50 Racing Oil. I don't know why people would run a petroleum product in their thousands of dollar motors. Why wouldn't you use the best? I run about 65 hours/season, and my oil analysis with the AMSOIL still come back perfect. I would also recommend the AMSOIL EAO-24 oil filter.

Guys watch out for the regular Mobil 1 15W-50 it is not what it used to be, they've reduced ZDDP, I used it for years as well and still use it for my cars........
