Popra Terrible News
Rob Mendez (In the Red) and Dave Trauffer (Who's Racing) are both in bad shape. Rob and Dave both have terminal Cancer. I am not sure if either one will make it to Havasu.
Rob Mendez is the Crew Chief of Team In The Red. I met him for the first time in 2008 and the Long Beach Rum Run.
Dave Trauffer Throttleman of Team Who's Racing. I met Dave in 2008 at the Salton Sea Kilo Run.
I am at a loss for words. I am going to miss two great people that I was lucky enough to meet.
My thoughts go out to both of them and their friends and family.
