Recently bought my 00 29 outlaw. It has 454 HOs, Livorsi gauges, imco steering etc. I see same year 29 outlaws with reg gauges etc. Can someone educate me on differences plz???????

The SST package came with the monster gauges, steering, etc....Mine is an SST also, but didn't come with external steering. I assume it didn't because it only has 330 mercs.

SST also got you K-Planes ( on twins)

Hyd steering was more a function of what it has for
power....As I recall, it was added on 385's and up

Mine had monster gages, K planes, steering and most options avail but no SST package. w385s

Mine has, monster gauges, Latham steering, 454 hos, imco drives (sound right)? But it does not have SST graphics.

In 2000 it would've been 454Mag's just so you don't confuse people when your explaining. They'll think HO's are 496's

Also it has Bravo drives.

What are IMCO then?

Lets see....going from memory the SST Package contained the following upgrades:

SST Graphics, and decals
K-Planes
Aluminum swim platform
Cockpit Cover
Cockpit Carpet - (wait that was Boss Package item)
Trim on the Handle
Monster Gauges

External steering was not part of the package, it was mainly part of any engine upgrade package.

The SST Package was set-up so that Baja dealers saved some cost over ordering each option separately. If you took the dealer cost for each item in the package (totaled it) then reduced the cost by approx. 15%, that is what they spent. This is what attracted dealers to order the SST package.
