I spoke to a local custom shop about doing the conversion, was between $2500/3000. Just to much for me, so I converted over to the HID headlight system for about $500 and they work great!

its a lot but it makes the truck look a lot newer

Have you got a picture of what you're talking about? I'm in need of a late model hood... but also want to upgrade my lights.

It is a lot of work. It took us about two weeks last time we did it but it does look a lot better. It is so time consuming that I haven't done it to the F650 we have now. We did do it on the last three we sold.

It is a totally custom job. You can't just buy a new hood. You have to cut out the current hood and remold it. Did I mention it was time consuming?

most of these have the headlight conversion. they put the f-150 headlights on them.

If someone had the hood already converted to this style head light i can talk to a friend that owns vfn fiberglass here in IL and ask if he can reproduce them,,that's if theirs others that would be willing to purchase the whole hood..
