What is a good offshore mag to have sent to my house ?

Powerboat , but the content is not what it used to be. Economy has killed the magazine biz as well.

Wish the magazines would have more stuff like older boat restorations, or re-rigging, conversions, etc. New boat tests are nice and all, but readers rides would be cool too. Maybe some cool how-to stuff also.

I always look forward to getting Powerboat in the mail.... But at the Miami Boat Show last week, I got a free copy of Poker Runs America - read it on the plane ride home and I loved it. It had a special deal of 2 years for $25. Mailed it in yesterday.

x2! I agree so much! Its not all about the latest and greatest mti with paint out the wazoo!! I wish the mags would cover the many builds/upgrades we all make.. Thats why we all wake up in the morning and check out this site before the fist cup of coffee.... It shows the storys we want to read. Because its what we do and what we love! The magazines are great and I do collect them all but, It does not compare to the Pics the board members post of there rides & fun!!!!

flipped through a powerboat magazine at the book store the other day - it was pretty thin!! I let my subscription run out last year - and I had been reading it since the 70's.

Im loving the new sport boat mag and performance boat mag
