Default F650 Air Ride Suspension

I know this is a probably a stupid question, but can someone tell me how the air dump switch/air ride suspension works on a F650. The toggle switch on the dash has a little trigger you slide out allowing the toggle to rock forward. Then what? Do you have to toggle it again to make truck go down and then back up? Is it automatic? I have read online and can't figure how to use the leveler/air dump switch. Thanks for any help, Dan

Dan,

It is pretty much automatic. You press the little release on the toggle and push the switch. You will hear the air releasing from the air bags. It stops when empty. To fill, push the switch opposite way and it will fill the bags back up. The switch is for rear dump only. Call me tomorrow if you don't figure it out.

Thanks, I will. My switch has a little thumb switch that keeps you from hitting it accidentally, and when moved, you can only toggle it up. I assume that you activate the switch, then wait for it to go down, then turn the switch off, then turn it back on and it inflates. My understanding is there is only full and empty and nothing in between.
