I am lift shopping and need to know the true weight of my boat. This is what I have so far:
- PP brochure lists weight (hull and deck, bonded) as 2,980 lbs.
- Total engine weight is 1,568 lbs. (3 Merc 250xs)
- Full fuel at 250 gallons figure another 1,538 lbs (6.152 lbs per gallon)
So far I am up to 6,086 lbs. Does anyone know if the brochure weight includes all the other stuff on the boat like seats, console, wiring, radar arch, etc, etc? If not, what is a reasonable guestimate for all the other stuff?

Thanks. I was thinking of a 12k lb lift. Looking closely at the airdocks. Saw two of them in the USVI last weekend holding up 38 Donzi's. The guy said they are a little bit of a pain but get the job done at very reasonable cost.

Tomba,
I don't mind the trailering at all and like the on land gas prices
Just really looking for a secure place to keep her. I figure at our dock is as safe as anywhere else and it will cost me next to nothing.
How is your search going? Heard a rumor that you found something......

I was looking at this boat last year but price was a little out of my reach. Mike's a good guy and based on the pictures he sent me, the boat is in excellent condition - mostly fresh water, very low hours, lift kept.
