Default TN River Rally 2011 July 16

I'm saving my gas money now for this run. Its too expensive to travel as much so I will make the most of this July run on my lake. There are a few more performance boat folks every year in an area that has been predominately Sea Rays, Mastercrafts, pontoons and bowriders. Regardless of what you have, come. Its a beautiful area and well organized for a wonderful charity.

Is 110 octane fuel available anywhere in the area for that poker run?

July 16th we meet at Ft. Loudon Marina, in Lenoir City. We have drivers meeting and announcements. Leave around 11:30am 4 flights; head 20 miles up to Tellico Marina for card stop #1 and Lunch. Head back down stream to Tellico Village Yacht Club for Stop #2. Back thru canal up Ft. Loudon Lake to Louisville Landing Marina Stop #3, Down stream to Concord Marina for Card Stop #4, back thru canal to Tellico Resevoir for Card Stop #5 and raft up. Back to Ft. Loudon Marina for Card reveal, Calhouns brisket dinner, DJ. There were a couple that wanted more running time so after stop #3 they went to downtown Knoxville to Volunteer Landing. Last year the raft up was fun. There were some Cliff diving, there were several groups that rafted together. And it was great to place to watch a few rooster tail runs! Run is roughly 90 miles. If you want more you can leave lunch and Head to Chilhowee Dam. Great ride!
We are Still working on Friday Kick-off at Calhoun's or maybe social hour 7-9 under tent. The Tiki Bar is always a great time! We had a dozen that made a Friday lunch run last year, will do the same this year. The Saturday is set, we are working on the Friday Kick-off.

Default Tennessee River Rally

Just received notice that Copper Cellar Corp., is going to host a kick off at the Tiki Bar Friday Evening! They will have a band playing and registration includes a beer and chips/spinach maria appitizer friday night! They are cooking up some of their brisket for dinner and bringing a keg of Mountain Light to the tent! I love it when a plan comes together! Hampton Inn has agreed to do a $89 rate for the poker run(be sure to mention the poker run). The Ft. Loudon Medical Hospital will rope off the emergency room parking area for truck and trailer parking!(this is next to Hampton Inn)!

We need to get together some time. We are to close not to boat around together.

Looking forward to the run. Just hope I can get my boat back together soon, all this sun is and warmer weather is making it hard not to have a boat on the water.

For the most part, I'd call this a family run.

Hey 2tonechevy, We have a poker run rate of $89 at the Hampton Inn. The hospital is adjacent to the Hampton Inn, so if you want to get crazy it not a bad crawl to the emegency room! LOL! The hospital has arranged parking for truck and trailers in their parking lot. Friday night, at the Ft. Loudon Marina most people hang out at the the Tiki Hut at Calhoun's Restraurt. There is a ramp at Ft. Loudon Marina as well as a ramp at the Tellico Lake both are easy access right off Hwy 321 in Lenoir City.

Web site is www.tennesseeriverrally.com or you can email me at [email protected]

As far as a rating, I would say family friendly. Overall, It is up to you on how much fun you want to have!
