Posting this here in hopes someone may know someone...

My daughter, a Deans List sophomore at Mizzou in the Journalism School, is hoping to find a summer job in Columbia. Thought I'd post here, to network on her behalf. If anyone knows of or hears of summer job opportunties, requiring a very responsible, extremely personable, bright and articulate college student, all leads appreciated.

What exactly is she looking for and how many hours per week, schedule, etc.? I live in Columbia and may know of a few possibilities, not 100% sure yet. Either way, I wish you/her luck looking.

As a Journalism major, her "perfect scenario" would be article or copy editing, film or radio production assistant, etc.".

Knowing perfect scenario is unlikely, she'd be happy to do anything of substance, with learning opportunities.

I know of a great internship for college students ameren UE does

Since ameren owns LOTO they are required by the core of engineers to spray the back of every cove for mosquitos at least twice a summer so they hire 6 or 8 college kids to drive around in a pontoons all summer for $20 something an hr to do it

See 'em every summer. I want that job only I want to do it in a 39 Cig!
