This one was also written for a broader boating audience, but you might find a few things you didn't know in it, http://features.boats.com/boat-conte...sets-the-pace/.

Great article Matt. The 48 MTI is simply spectacular! Had the chance to run on John woodruffs 48 MTI "Windship" (you missed that trip!). At 150 in 2' slop off of Ft. Myers, "Windship"( almost uncannily) felt as smooth as a Cadi at 55! Awesome, awesome machines!
See you at Desert Storm bro-sef!

Hey PokerRun,
I think you might get a chance to see more than one 48' MTI at Desert Storm. I wouldn't be surprised if Terminator and the new Corvette model are there, as both really didn't get a chance to run at anything resembling all out during the Miami Boat Show Poker Run. (Crews from Mercury Racing and MTI worked all Thursday night to them ready—fuel supply challenges for the new 1350s—but they still weren't dialed in for the Friday run.)
If you like the look of carbon fiber—I happen to be huge fan of it, but to each his own—the Corvette boat will knock you out.
Looking foward to Desert Storm and hope to meet you (as well as any other offshoreonly members who are going) there.
