Hello,
Can anyone post a photo of this boat "back in the day" when it was raced? Also, who knows a little bit about its race history?
Finally, does anyone know the story of how a boat like this came to be on top of a building??
Any info would be great, read a few older threads about this boat & its got me curious.
Thanks,
Michael Payne

Boat is owned by Marty Belich. He and his son Mark are in the construction business here in Ohio.
The boat wasa a bare hull when they bought it. They did an awesome job putting it together and won many races running in Class "C" and Class "B" here on the Great lakes.
They boat was rolled during the St. Claire River race and put back together and used for their pleaseure boat for a few years. I think they just lost interest in racing and boating with family and business.
Marty owns the building and bar where the boat currently sits as sign.

The tow boat got there just in time and pulled the boat off the course as the freighter came on..
I believe Al Ray was the only one banged up, but was at the bar later that day.
If you go to Google maps [35700 Lakeland Blvd Willoughby, OH 44095] you can see the boat on the roof.
