I am trying to mount so Latham 8in rams on my 92 38 fever.e I want to keep them on the outside the drives but the mounting brackets for the tabs are in the way, so I was wondering if I can mount the above the brackets and if so how far above them should I mount them. Any help or pics would be great. Thanks Eric

Do you have all the proper parts to install the system? You'll need 2 wing plates, 2 rams, 1 tie bar, 2 thru hull hydraulic fittings, and the lines etc for inside the boat depending on if it's a full system or add on system. Where the rams mount on the transom shouldn't be anywhere near the tab plates. That's really low. They should be near the top of the drives trimmed to "0" trim. get soome professional help before you go drilling holes in your transom.

Try looking in the classified at some pics of other Fountains to see how they are done.
