Default allstar 708 ci

Has anyone ever seen one of these engines in a boat. It seems like a real good and reliable engine, but I wonder about the cost. www.allstarengine.com

A new century block and big chief style heads probably be a few dollars
valvetrain would probably be the weak link

Looks like a very well built engine.

It does not look substantially cooler than what ilmor has done on an HP per cubic inch basis.

Ilmor is getting 725 HP from a naturally aspirated 505.

I wonder if its going to run 600 hours like an ilmor with just fluid changes.

I admit these guys have an awesome package.

As far as the sigle carb I get it -

- but altitude and big temp changes aren't a carbs friend

Where did you see the carb?

From the spec page:

Induction System: Sequential Fuel Injection
